Abstract

The Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) aims to change the paradigm of evaluation of education in Indonesia which will be carried out at the mid-school level, grade 5 for elementary school/Islamic elementary school level, grade 8 for senior high school/Islamic senior high school level, and grade 11 for senior high school/Islamic senior high school/vocational high school.  This encouraging teachers and principals to improve the quality of learning.  Interpersonal communication is communication that has a great effect in terms of influencing other people. In this case, a teacher student interpersonal communication strategy is needed which aims to provide an understanding regarding ANBK to students. This research used planning theory according to Charles that planning is a process of action plans.  Message planning is a major concern because communication is very important in achieving goals.  The purpose of the plan is to influence others to achieve the target that they desired through messages or communicating that has been planned. The results of the study can be concluded that the interpersonal communication strategy carried out by teachers to students at elementary school 62 OKU is by providing an understanding in an easy-to-understand language not only using verbal but also non-verbal language and also being guided so that students quickly understand about the purpose of ANBK.  The interpersonal communication strategy implemented at elementary school 62 OKU has a very good impact in increasing enthusiasm for students in facing the ANBK exam.
