Abstract

This study aims to compare how the online media Republika.co.id, detik.com and kompas.com framed the news of Rachel Vennya's escape from the Covid-19 quarantine period, this study used a qualitative research type with a Constructionist paradigm, Robert N Entmant's framing analysis framework. namely Define Problems, Diagnose Causes, Make Moral Judgment, and Treatment Recommendation related to the news regarding Rachel Vennya's escape from the Covid-19 quarantine period, the news was grouped into 2 issues and analyzed using the framing model of Robert N Entman, the frame from Republika.co.id impressed In support of the Covid-19 quarantine regulations, Detik.com in this report positions itself on the side of the public by providing news that mostly quotes from public assumptions, while kompas.com is more neutral with the aim of attracting visitors by providing news titles. who criticizes the authorities but the content of the news gives an explanation from the authorities.
