Abstract

Technological developments are used in the field of communication, namely the process of disseminating information on work carried out by leaders to employees. The formulation of the problem in this research is what is the communication strategy through the use of the Whatsapp application in disseminating information to employees of the Peninjauan District?. The author's purpose of conducting research is to find out communication strategies through the use of the Whatsapp application in disseminating information to employees of the Peninjauan District.In this study using organizational control using four supervisions, namely: simple, technical, bureaucratic, and conservative. In this study using organizational control theory.

The type of research used by the researcher in this study is a qualitative approach which is a research based on phenomenology and constructivism paradigms in developing knowledge about communication strategies through the use of the Whatsapp application in disseminating information to Peninjauan District Employees.

The results of the study show that the communication strategy through the use of the Whatsapp application in disseminating information to the Peninjauan District Employees is quite effective, as seen from: The Whatsapp application has a major role in supporting the process of accelerating communication and coordination carried out by every employee of the Peninjauan District Office. In using the Whatsapp application to support communication and coordination activities carried out by employees, there has been no negative impact caused by the use of this Whatsapp application. However, there are obstacles experienced by the employees of the Camat Peninjauan Office, namely technical problems in the form of cell phone batteries that run low easily and the difficulty of getting a good signal when in the field. This can then have an impact on slowing down the existing communication.
