KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL ANTARA GURU DAN SANTRI USIA DEWASA DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU BELAJAR MEMBACA AL-QUR’AN

Abstract

The Al-Muhajirun Baturaja Qur'an Education Institute (LPQ) is an institution that facilitates people's willingness to learn to read the Qur'an, especially adults. However, in practice, adults experience obstacles, ranging from difficulty managing time between work and study, memory loss, and other difficulties. This study discusses how Interpersonal Communication between Teachers and Adult Students in Improving the Quality of Learning to Read the Qur'an. The theory used in this research is Social Penetration Theory, with orientation stage, affective exchange exploration stage, affective exchange stage, and stable exchange stage. The research method used is descriptive qualitative analysis method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive qualitative, after conducting research and data analysis. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the interpersonal communication relationship between teachers and adult students and to find out how big the role of teacher interpersonal communication in improving the quality of learning to read the Qur'an for adult students at LPQ Al-Muhajirun Baturaja. The results show that in improving the quality of learning to read the Qur'an in adult students, LPQ Al-Muhajirun teachers are able to understand the conditions and obstacles. obstacles experienced by adult students, so that through interpersonal communication the teacher can formulate solutions to overcome existing obstacles, by providing alternative flexible learning times and learning online. The increasing quality of learning to read the Qur'an in adult students can be measured by the level of qiroati volume that is being taught at this time.
