ANALISIS PERILAKU KOMUNIKASI PENGGUNA GAME ONLINE FREE FIRE PADA SISWA SMK NEGERI 1 MARTAPURA KABUPATEN OKU TIMUR

Abstract

Advances in technology can have positive and negative impacts on society. One of them is through online games, but for everyone there are also those who assume that online games are more directed to the negative impact than the positive depends on the individual who judges it. Communication behavior of online game users, one of which is Free fire. In this study using the theory of conversation analysis which is part of the theory of socioculture. This theory explains the principles in conversation which consist of the principle of quantity; quality principle; the principle of relevance and the principle of etiquette. This research uses qualitative research methods, qualitative research methods are methods by collecting data which are done by observation and in-depth interviews. In this study an in-depth interview will be conducted to students of SMK Negeri 1 Martapura. The results of research on communication behavior of free fire online game users in SMK Negeri 1 Martapura Timur OKU Regency viewed from the principle of quantity, communication behavior of online game addicts, addicts are more closed in the form of behavior towards the general public and more open to fellow online game addicts with interpersonal communication that addicts do to communicate. The principle of quality, communication behavior that is formed due to the repetition of the communication process continuously by using the same language and topic. Principle Relevance, online game addicts are more comfortable using informal language which is usually the language of their respective regions. This informal language has abbreviations and slang used because online game addicts understand each other the meaning of the abbreviations and slang used. The principle of etiquette, the language used in communication that is verbal and non verbal language.
