This study aims to explore the challenges encountered by teachers when using Word Wall to facilitate the learning of procedural texts. Conducted at a junior high school in Cirebon, the study focuses on 8th grade English teachers who implement Word Wall as a teaching medium. The study employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing interviews and document analysis to gather data. The findings reveal that the challenges faced by teachers in utilizing Word Wall can be divided into two primary categories. The first category involves the limitations associated with using Word Wall, such as technical difficulties and the necessity for teachers to develop creative instructional strategies. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using a survey approach. The sample in this study consisted of 48 students including the second semester with 26 respondents and the fourth semester with 22 students as respondents. Data was collected through a questionnaire using Google Form which was then distributed online via WhatsApp groups for each respondent class. It consist 20 statement with 2 indicator, namely: linguistic problems and psychology problems. The researcher used four point of likert scale for analyzing the data recapitulation, The researchers found two problems faced by students when speaking English, including linguistic problems and psychological problems. The results research show that 28,13% strongly agree, 46,2% agree, 20,01% disagree, 5,64% strongly disagree of students have linguistic problems in speaking English with the highest cause being lack of vocabulary. Meanwhile, regarding psychological problems, based on research resultsresearch show that 19,4% strongly agree, 46,2% agree, 20,01% disagree, 5,64% strongly of students have psychology problems in speaking English with the highest cause being lack of self-confidence. MGMP is a forum for teachers to improve their abilities, broaden their knowledge, accommodate ideas and can be a place to accommodate problems faced by teachers. The aim of this research is to find out how the MGMP training program influences the performance of English teachers. This research uses quantitative methods using a sample of 30 English teachers in Cirebon district. The data collection technique is using a Google Form questionnaire which is shared via a link. The results obtained with the formula (t test > t table) = (11.301 > 2.048) indicate that the t test results are greater than the t table, meaning that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This research specifically targets the second-semester students of this program. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was gathered through questionnaires and tests. The population consisted of all students in the English Education Study Program at Baturaja University, with a sample of 26 students selected through purposive sampling. To collect data on students' movie-watching habits, a questionnaire was employed, while listening skills were assessed using an English book by Jack C. Richards (2010). The Pearson Product Moment correlation was used to analyze the data. The findings revealed a positive correlation between students' habits of watching English movies and their listening skills, as evidenced by a correlation coefficient (rxy) of 0.801. This indicates a very strong relationship, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant and strong positive correlation between the students' habits of watching English movies and their listening skills. The method of the study used descriptive qualitative research. The sample of the research consisted of eighth grade students from VIII A and VIII B, totaling 31 students. The researchers delivered try out to non sample which include 30 questions in multiple choice. After the tryout, 25 questions were valid and they were used for gathering the data. Based on the findings, the results of the student scores were as follows: 9 respondents had achieved a very good score (80-100%), 7 respondents had achieved a good score (66-79%), 3 respondents had achieved a fair score (55-65%), 4 respondents had achieved a poor score (41-54%), and 8 respondents had achieved a failing score (00-40%). Based on the mean score (62.9) In this research, it was found that students' reading comprehension of recount texts was fair. This was caused by difficulties faced by the students in three basic parts of recount text: orientation, events, and reorientation and students found that difficult to determine the sequence of events.</p> <p> </p>2024-05-01T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##
