DINAMIKA KOMUNITAS PLANKTON PADA BERBAGAI SUMBER PENCEMARAN PADA SEGMEN PERAIRAN SUNGAI MUSI DI KECAMATAN KERTAPATI DAN GANDUS

Abstract

Musi River is one of land-based sources of ecosystems on the island of Sumatra. Much Activities in Musi River can be impact to plankton community. These experiment has been taken places in

5 station under different industrial wastewater pollution.  The study revealed occurance of total

18 species of plankton to identified. The highest grade of overflowing found in station 1 for

11608,28 ind/L. The highest grade of diversity was found in station 5 for 1,40, and the highest grade of dominancy indices and evenness indices were found in station 3 for 0,74 and 0,65. The concluded from this study that the plankton population is highly influence by the discharge of the wastewater from different industrial effluent in Musi River.
