Abstract

This research aims to find out the various styles of repetitive language and find out what styles of repetitive language are found in the lyrics of the song Dewa 19. The research method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The data in this research are lyric quotations related to the repetitive language style in the lyrics of the song Dewa 19. The data collection technique used in this research is a documentary study technique. The data analysis technique is carried out in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data reduction is carried out by tracing themes then selecting data, data presentation is carried out by presenting the data that has been obtained and then describing it in narrative form, the final step is drawing conclusions. Of the 12 types of repetition language styles, researchers could only find 10 types of repetition language styles based on the number of samples studied, namely 57 songs and the types of repetition language styles that were most often used in the lyrics of Dewa 19 songs were anaphora repetition language style and assonation repetition language style..
