This research uses a descriptive method where the author first reads the contents of the short story before analyzing it, then analyzes the issue of feminism in the short story. Based on the results of the analysis, this short story shows that feminism is deeply embedded in society and the cruelty of society's view of women. Gender differences have always been a stronghold of separation that tends to restrain a woman's freedom of activity and expression. The purpose of the research was to uncover the dynamics of toxic relationships reflected in the lyrics. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis method, the primary data consisted of the song's lyrics, while secondary data was gathered from reviews and relevant literature. Data analysis involved linking elements of the lyrics to the symptoms of Stockholm Syndrome. The findings revealed that the lyrics reflected key symptoms of Stockholm Syndrome, including the victim’s attempts to create an idealized narrative to justify a toxic relationship, despite being aware of its negative impact. This narrative was reinforced by a cycle of emotional manipulation that made it difficult for the victim to leave the relationship. Furthermore, the study identified the victim's growing awareness of the manipulation, which marked the beginning of emotional liberation. In conclusion, the song not only reflected individual experiences but also served as a critique of destructive relationship dynamics. This research aimed to enrich interdisciplinary discourse spanning art, psychology, and popular culture, while encouraging further studies on toxic relationships in other media.
2024-12-23T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://unbara.ac.id/journal/index.php/bastrando/article/view/2853Analisis Deiksis dalam Cerpen Senyum Karyamin Karya Ahmad Tohari2025-01-05T08:07:01+00:00Nelli Eka Diana Santinelli.2022@mhs.unisda.ac.idSisilia Tri Utamisisilia.2022@mhs.unisda.ac.id
This study aims to analyze and describe the use of deixis in literary works. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method using listening and note-taking techniques. Literary works have several types, one of which is song. Songs are literary works to convey emotional and social messages through song lyrics. These two songs have different views on women's perspectives. The song entitled "Love Me" highlights women's emotional dependence on happiness and dignity for the sake of love. On the other hand, the song entitled Hey Ladies conveys a message of women's empowerment by inviting women to be more rational, independent, logical, intelligent and assertive in relationships. These findings were carried out to strengthen the importance of song lyrics as a medium in increasing awareness of issues of feminism and women's independence in society, especially in expressing feelings that are always oppressed. Based on the research conducted by the researcher, songs performed by Rossa show differences in the perspective of women. The song Cintai Aku portrays women as emotional, dependent, and willing to sacrifice themselves for love, reflecting gender inequality. This novel depicts the life of Indonesian society during the Japanese occupation, with a focus on the struggle for independence experienced by the main character, Hardo, a leader of the rebellion against Japanese colonialism. The data collection technique used was a literature study, with the main data coming from Pramoedya Ananda Toer's novel Perburuan and relevant literature. In a historical context, Perburuan reflects the tension and resistance of colonial society against the colonizers, and shows the political and social realities during the transition to Indonesian independence. Through a postcolonial literary approach, this novel can be read as a form of criticism of colonial domination, while articulating the experiences of subalterns and marginalized voices in the official historical narrative. Pramoedya, with his narrative skills, successfully depicts the trauma, determination, and resistance of figures who strive to achieve freedom amidst uncertainty. Thus, Perburuan is not only a literary document about historical events, but also offers an alternative perspective that challenges the hegemony of colonial discourse, while enriching the study of postcolonial literature in Indonesia. The conclusion is that Pramoedya Ananta Toer's novel Perburuan makes an important contribution to Indonesian literature by depicting historical realities during the Japanese occupation while offering a postcolonial perspective that is critical of colonial hegemony. Through the character of Hardo, this novel displays the dynamics of the struggle and resistance of the Indonesian people in achieving independence, and articulates voices that have been marginalized by the official historical narrative. With a postcolonial literary approach, Perburuan is not only a literary witness to historical events, but also a medium for criticism of colonial domination and the affirmation of national identity. This novel enriches the study of postcolonial history and literature by offering a deep understanding of trauma, resilience, and socio-political dynamics in the pre-independence era of Indonesia. The purpose of writing this journal is 1. Identifying the Main Theme, analyzing the themes raised in the novel, such as the struggle against colonialism, betrayal, nationalism, and moral dilemmas. 2. Examining the Criticism of Colonial Hegemony, examining how this novel offers a postcolonial perspective by criticizing colonial domination and articulating the experiences of marginalized communities in historical narratives. 3. Examining the Dynamics of Figures and the Struggle for Independence, outlining the characterization of Hardo and the struggle, trauma, and resilience in it as symbols of resistance against the colonizers.
2024-12-31T00:00:00+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://unbara.ac.id/journal/index.php/bastrando/article/view/2896Kontribusi Honorifik Bahasa Madura terhadap Pengayaan Sapaan Santun Berbahasa Mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Sumenep2025-01-23T02:47:31+00:00Suhartatik Suhartatiksuhartatik@stkippgrisumenep.ac.idHodairiyah Hodairiyahhodairiyah@gmail.comSiti Arifaharifah@gmail.com
This study discussed about the use of the Madurese speech level used by students of STKIP PGRI Sumenep in communicating at campus.
