Abstract

The Population Administration Service is part of the mandatory local government affairs carried out by the Population and Civil Registry Service. The Department of Population and Civil Registry has the task of providing services in the context of making population documents which have been regulated in accordance with Law no. 23 of 2006 concerning Population Administration. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Population Administration Services through the Automated Dukcapil Pavilion Machine (ADM) in Kapanewon Ngaglik. The benefit of this research is to increase the effectiveness of administrative services in carrying out an effective level of service. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods to examine the material naturally. The research location used as the research source is the Kapanewon Ngaglik Office. There were 10 resource persons in this study, including 4 employees from Kapanewon Ngaglik and 6 people who live in Kapanewon Ngaglik. Data analysis techniques used to reduce data, present data, and draw conclusions. The final result of this study shows that population administration services have not been very effective in terms of the overall program. This can be seen from the ADM machine service, which has not been able to access this service because of several obstacles, including people who do not understand technology, the socialization that is carried out is still lacking for the community, and the availability of films for printing is limited and they have to wait for distribution from the Dukcapil Service of Sleman.
