ANALISIS STRATEGI PEMERINTAH DAERAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENERIMAAN PAJAK KENDARAAN BERMOTOR KABUPATEN OGAN KOMERING ULU

Abstract

In terms of motor vehicle tax collection, the Regional Revenue Management UPTB office plays an important role and is expected to be a means to maximize the potential of motor vehicle taxes in order to increase regional tax revenues. Therefore, to increase motor vehicle tax revenues, UPTB Regional Revenue Management must have a strategy. The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze alternative strategies carried out by UPTB East OKU Regional Revenue Management in an effort to increase motor vehicle taxes. The method used in this research was SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicated that the East OKU Regional Revenue Management UPTB conducted socialization about the importance of the role of taxes in regional infrastructure development to places that were crowded with the public such as markets, and also carried out a tax whitening program, namely the abolition of fines and interest from previous years, and only the basic taxes and fees for SWDKLLJ (Compulsory Contribution to Road Traffic Accident Funds) are paid.
