The PERAN BPP SEBAGAI FASILITATOR DALAM PEMBANGUNAN PERTANIAN DI KECAMATAN KADUDAMPIT KABUPATEN SUKABUMI

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) as a facilitator in agricultural development in Kadudampit Sub-district, Sukabumi Regency and to determine the relationship between the facilitator role of BPP Kadudampit and Agricultural Development. The research used descriptive method. Respondents were collected using Cluster Sampling method with judgment sampling. The data were analyzed using Spearman rank simple correlation test and Likert scale, then will be explained descriptively. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between agricultural development in Kadudampit Sub-district, Sukabumi District and the role of BPP, indicating a very strong relationship. The role of BPP as a facilitator in agricultural development in Kadudampit Sub-district, Sukabumi District with a good category, in addition to the implementation of the role of facilitator in agricultural development has been mature adapted to the characteristics of the region in other words it can be stated that the better the role of facilitator BPP Kadudampit, the better the agricultural development in Kadudampit Sub-district.
