PENGARUH SUKU BUNGA BI RATE DAN TINGKAT INFLASI TERHADAP HARGA SAHAM PT. BANK NEGARA INDONESIA (Persero) Tbk PERIODE 2018-2022

Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the influence of the BI Rate Interest Rate and Inflation Rate on the Share Prices of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) TBK for the 2018-2022 period partially and simultaneously. This research was quantitativewith secondary data obtained from the official website yahoo.id and the official BI website, with total time series data for 5 years 2018-2022. The method used was multiple linear data regression. The data processing process was carried out with the help of a computer application, namely the SPSS program.

The independent variables in this research were BI Rate (X1) and Inflation Rate (X2) then the dependent variable was BNI Share Price (Y). The research results showed that simultaneously the BI Rate (X1) and Inflation Rate (X2) variables influenced the BNI Share Price (Y) for the 2018-2022 period. Meanwhile, partially the BI Rate variable (X1) had a positive and significant influence on the BNI Share Price (Y) for the 20018-2022 period, and the Inflation Rate variable (X2) had a positive and significant influence on the BNI Share Price (Y) for the 2018-2022 period. The coefficient of determination value showed the contribution of the influence of the BI Rate (X1) and the Inflation Rate (X2) simultaneously at 52.5% while the remaining 47.5% was caused by other factors not examined in this research model
