Abstract
The main purpose of this research was to analyze the influence of Investment and Labor on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in South Sumatra Province from 2003 to 2022, both simultaneously and partially. The method used to analyze the problem in this research was a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis tools.
Based on the research results, it was explained that simultaneously, Investment (X1) and Labor (X2) together influenced the Gross Regional Domestic Product (Y), where the F-calculated result was greater than the F-table value, or 359.983 > 3.59. Investment (X1) had a positive and significant partial influence on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (Y), where the t-calculated value was less than the t-table value, 3.061 < 2.10982, with a significance value of 0.007. Labor (X2) had a positive and significant partial influence on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (Y), where the t
-calculated value was greater than the t-table value, 9.104 > 2.10982, with a significance value of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value was 0.977. This indicated that the percentage contribution of the influence of Investment and Labor in South Sumatra Province was 97.7%, while the remaining 2.3% was influenced by other variables not included in this research, such as Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD), General Allocation Fund (DAU), Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH), Inflation, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), local government expenditure, and others
